Moore, 41, of Controversy Lane, Pembroke, is also charged with possessing an offensive weapon at that time.

He was also arrested on two warrants for failing to show in court on a charge of obstruction under the misuse of Drugs Act and a separate charge of wounding, theft, and having an offensive weapon on December 9.

TRUCK RUNS OFF THE ROAD AC FIR Truck runs off the road Police and Fire Service units rushed to the aid of a driver on Thursday evening after his truck ran off the road into nearby trees on North Shore, Hamilton Parish.

The 59-year-old man was not injured and was consequently arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

He was detained at St. George's Police Station for further inquiries.

CASH STOLEN FROM GAMING MACHINE CRM Cash stolen from gaming machine Police are investigating the theft of a sum of cash from a gaming machine that took place at Coconut Rock Restaurant on Thursday evening.

Owners of the restaurant said they noticed forced entry into the machine.

Police are continuing their inquiries.
