Sinclair Fox was also reminded that he owes $400 in unpaid fines when he appeared before Senior Magistrate William Francis in Magistrates' Court yesterday.

Fox, 48, who lives at the Parsons Road shelter in Pembroke, pleaded not guilty to stealing a pearl necklace from Gina Hook in Pembroke on January 13 and attempting to steal an undisclosed amount of cash from two men.

Separate trial dates were set down on April 8 and April 10 for the matters and Fox was bailed on $500 with a like surety.

Mr. Francis then told the man he had three unpaid fine warrants for $50, $150 and $200 apiece and ordered him to have them all paid by Valentine's Day -- February 14.
