Fox, 48, who lives at the Parsons Road shelter in Pembroke, pleaded not guilty to stealing a pearl necklace from Gina Hook in Pembroke on January 13 and attempting to steal an undisclosed amount of cash from two men.
Separate trial dates were set down on April 8 and April 10 for the matters and Fox was bailed on $500 with a like surety.
Mr. Francis then told the man he had three unpaid fine warrants for $50, $150 and $200 apiece and ordered him to have them all paid by Valentine's Day -- February 14.
