after he admitted stealing a Suzuki motorcycle in broad daylight.

Kawesi Wilson of Cook's Hill Road, admitted the offence which occurred on September 23.

Prosecutor Sgt. Peter Giles said Police saw Wilson and another man walk up to a cycle parked in the City Hall parking lot around 12.30 p.m. Wilson went up to the cycle and broke the ignition cover. He then started it up and rode off in the direction of Wesley Street where Police pulled him over.

At Hamilton Police Station, a crowbar, wire cutters and a screwdriver were found on him.

Wilson told Magistrate Cheryl Ann Mapp that he "was up against the wall'', because he owed $4,800 and wanted to get some extra money because he was unemployed.
