Joseph Hayward, 42, of Cambridge Road, Southampton, admitted driving while impaired by alcohol in Paget.
Prosecuting Insp. Peter Duffy told Magistrates' Court that Police spotted Hayward's car near the Paraquet Restaurant. It was crossing the centre line despite vehicles travelling in the opposite direction.
Insp. Duffy said: "The Police car turned on its sirens and Hayward did not slow down. He finally slowed down behind a slower car and was stopped.'' Police officers found that Hayward smelled of liquor and he was found to be more than twice over the legal limit.
Insp. Duffy reported that Hayward had been banned in November 1991 but he received a restoration in December.
He was disqualified for three years and fined $450. He was also fined $400 for a separate speeding offence.
In another incident a Sandys man was disqualified for a year and fined $400 for driving while impaired on Trimmingham Hill.
Gladwyn Eugene Bean, 31, of Cochrane Road, Dockyard, was spotted on East Broadway leaving Hamilton.
Insp. Duffy said: "He was followed by Police officers. His car was being driven in an erratic manner, swerving from side to side in the two lanes. He hit a nearside kerb.''
