The 26-year-old man told Police he was walking to his Rec-View Hill residence on Thursday when he was approached by two men who choked him, held up a broken bottle to him and demanded money.

When the man told them he did not have any money, he said they dragged him into his nearby residence and threw a brick through his glass front sliding door window.

At this point they were interrupted by a relative of the victim who ordered them to leave, he said. The two men left the scene in a light blue Hyundai car.
