He admitted the offences which took place outside the White Horse Restaurant in St. George's on June 19.

Prosecutor Sgt. Donald Grant said that officers were summoned after Place started a disturbance during which he threw a bottle at the chef. The bottle missed and hit a glass display case belonging to the Carole Holding Studio.

When officers tried to calm Place down he swore at them and then lashed out with his hands when they arrested him.

Place's lawyer Mr. Mark Pettingill told the court that the offence was out of character for his client who intended to pay for the broken glass.
