Tourism Competitiveness Programme will be held today at noon at the Chamber of Commerce on Front Street.
Leading the discussion -- which is open to the public -- will be the Monitor Company's Steve Searfoss and Marriott's Castle Harbour Resort human resource director Lorrita Tucker-Simmons.
The focus will be on the tourism workforce and what is being done to develop it into a unit capable of meeting the needs of the most demanding, top-of-the-line visitors. Ms Tucker-Simmons will focus on the activities of the Bermuda Association of Human Resource Development (BAHRD) which is implementing employee development through a variety of initiatives.
