Motorcycle thief grabs handbag
on Monday when the woman had her handbag snatched by a male motorcycle rider.
The couple were walking along Pitts Bay Road in Pembroke when the man rode up next to the woman and grabbed her bag which contained a "significant'' quantity of cash, credit cards and other personal items.
He is described as being approximately 18-years-old with brown skin and a slight build. He was also reported to be wearing a white helmet.

The man reported that at 3.15 p.m. on Sunday he secured his belongings with a towel and went for a swim at the Warwick beach only to return 15 minutes later and find his two bags and wallet missing.
The wallet contained an undisclosed quantity of cash and personal items and was not recovered although the bags were found nearby.
Meanwhile, other beach-goers reported seeing two young boys near the complainants' belongings.
They were described as being between 15 and 16 years of age and approximately five-feet, seven-inches tall.
One was white with blond hair while the other was light-brown skinned.

The man arrived on the Island on Saturday and fell asleep in a chair at his Cherry Hill Park, Paget apartment around 8.30 p.m.

The adjacent store, Pizzaz Salon, was also targeted by thieves but nothing was reported stolen.

The 60-minute-long Wild in the Islands show, on Channel 34, featured a half-hour segment on Bermuda, focusing on the Samuel L. Jackson Golf Tournament.
Shown last Saturday night, the programme is expected to be repeated many times -- taking it to a claimed TV audience of 100 million.
Produced by the Canadian based E! Entertainment company, the show also highlighted other aspects of the Island, promoting attractions to a target of wealthy 35- to 40-year-olds in the US and Canada.
A spokesman for the company said it was massive publicity for Bermuda and added that they were keen to do more sport-orientated programmes on the Island.

The trucker told Police he had stopped off at the Heron Bay MarketPlace grocery store last Thursday morning.
Although in the store for only a few minutes, when he returned to his vehicle he realised that his briefcase, which contained personal belongings, had been stolen.

Although nothing had been stolen a thorough search of the house had been carried out by the would-be thief. Police were able to get a good description of the man and a suspect was arrested a short time later in the Knapton Hill area.
