At about 5.45 p.m. two riders on RC-100s without helmets failed to stop for officers on Dutton Avenue, Police said yesterday.

They were pursued onto Angle and Union Streets where they were lost. They were seen a short time later by an off-duty Police Officer, but lost again.

Inquiries are continuing.

The second chase started at about 9.30 p.m. on Court and Victoria Streets after a man was seen running a red light.

The chase continued along Dundonald and Parliament Streets where the Peugeot 103 was abandoned and the rider had bolted.
