David Anthony Eugene Dill, of no fixed abode, was sentenced to 15 years in jail in January for stabbing Dafydd Herman-Smith in his Pembroke home in April, 1999.

In the Court of Appeal yesterday, defence lawyer Elizabeth Christopher argued an appeal against his conviction, which was handed down in December, 1999.

Dill was found guilty by a jury of attempted murder, breaking and entering, unlawful wounding and stealing.
