My Grandmother -- a very special friend

Sarah worked at Hampton, Virginia's Memorial Hospital. I would say her favourite television show was The Cosby Show. Her hobbies were a lot of things such as listening to jazz, shopping, cooking, and a whole variety of other things. One of the reasons I keep saying "was'' is because she died of breast cancer, but to me, I feel that she still is my grandmother and will always be there for me like she was down on Earth.

My grandmother was my special friend because she was trustworthy. And anything I told she would stay between me and her. You know confidential, unless I told someone else. Some of the things I liked about my grandmother were that she was always outgoing, always happy, always willing to help somebody, and she would never let anything put her down, not even her disease. I had taken admiration for this one reason, "That she would never let anything put her down.'' Five words I would use to describe my grandmother would be charming, and that was because she had a quality about herself that was very delightful. She was also admirable and that was because she had high esteem. She was interesting.

And when I say interesting, I mean that she was different in a lot of ways.

She was also loving, she was willing to do anything for anybody. And last but not least she was a very outgoing person, she was always willing to get up and go somewhere without a problem.

One thing that I will always remember was when she told me, "That a true friend was the best possession.'' Today when I think about that saying, I know what my true possession was, and that was my frienship between me and my grandmother.

If I had a lot of money, I would have bought my special friend many doctors to cure her cancer, especially breast cancer.
