to come up with a new name for the road which separates the Airport and Castle Harbour.

Primary and secondary school students must submit names -- for the road that begins at the airport roundabout and ends at the Ministry of Works and Engineering's heavy metals dump -- by 5 p.m. tomorrow.

The name must reflect Bermudian heritage or a Bermudian who has significantly contributed to the community.

The students are also asked to submit an explanation of why they feel their suggested name should be chosen.

Entries will be judged by the Air Advisory Committee and the winner is expected to be announced on June 14 when the committee plans to hold a celebration of the 60th anniversary of civil aviation in Bermuda.

The winning student for the road name competition will receive $70 gift certificates from the Bermuda Book Store, the English Sports Shop, and Pizza House.

Plaques will be awarded to the winner, winning school, and a copy displayed in the Airport.

A prize will also be awarded for the most creative entry.

Entry forms may be obtained from school offices.
