NDC Chief Executive Officer Derrick Binns said previous surveys had made no mention of club drugs.

But the NDC's forthcoming survey for schoolchildren will be modified to include questions about these drugs, said Dr. Binns.

Dr. Binns said the NDC did not know the extent of ecstasy and other club drug use here.

The NDC sponsored a conference last week to train drug counsellors and club and pub managers about the tell-tale signs to help them spot users.
