And residences requiring more than one directory can expect to receive the new books first, the Bermuda Telephone Company Ltd. said.

Distribution was expected to end by the May 24 holiday.

Telco will also be launching an advertising campaign to inform the public about the distribution procedure.

"So if customers have not received their directory and yet others they know have, not to worry,'' Telco said. "The mailing procedure takes about six weeks. It is done this way to prevent congestion and confusion for the Post Office.''
