George's Preparatory School after no trespassing signs were erected.

School headmistress Mary Lodge confirmed that several signs had been erected on the property last week to safeguard both faculty and students. She revealed that the move followed a recent `incident which highlighted a cause for concern''.

"While I am not saying there was a paedophile, there has been something that caused concern,'' she said. Mrs. Lodge noted that St. George's Police advised that signs be erected as it would them give them power to arrest trespassers.

Under current law Police would have to seek approval from land owners before being able to apprehend trespassers.

There is much open field at the school which on one side opens directly onto the St. George's Golf Course but Mrs. Lodge noted that the signs had been strategically placed.
