One hallowe'en night
trick-or treating. On their way they saw other kids with costumes more gruesome then theirs. Matthew was dressed as Fred D. Cougar, David as Mr.
Frank N. Stien and Derek as a Vampire Pizza Guy. While they were lethargically walking they saw cars with rotten eggs smashed all over them and did they give a stench. They were unbearable. Trees with bare branches had toilet paper wrapped around them. The branches gave a cackle in the howling wind, and you could hear whining and screeching from a distance.
The full moon was bright and the sidewalks were slimy and gooey, with pieces of fur off peoples' costumes. The first home we visited was an old broken-down house on the outskirts of town. An old ominous lady named Mrs. Jabberwalky lived there. she's about 73-years-old, and has lived in the house for 46 years and she never talked to anyone. She was a lonely old women. Everyone thought she was a witch because she kept to herself.
We knocked on the worn-out door, it creaked open to our surprise a sweet old lady answered the door. A delicious smell was coming from her house and a dim light lit it up. We said, "Tr Tr Trick-or-Treat.'' Her whole face brightened up. She was so surprised. She answered,'' Oh my goodness.'' She strolled into the kitchen and got a wooden bowl full of candies and goodies. She filled our bags about a quarter of the way. We said, "Thank You!'' and then left. Ever since she's been talking to people and we told all the children about her. Now they've all been going to her house every Hallowe'en.
