last week and ordered to compensate the terrier's owner for the cost of putting it to sleep.
Duncan McMartin, of Glebe Hill, Hamilton Parish, pleaded guilty to keeping two German shepherd dogs which caused injury to another dog.
Crown counsel Ms Nita Grewal said the terrier's owner put her dog outside at 5 p.m. on November 4 and a few minutes later heard the dog screaming.
She ran outside and saw two German shepherds attacking the terrier.
