Bermuda, Baroness Blatch unveils a portrait of Mrs. Hilda Aitken in the House of Assembly. Mrs. Aitken was one of the first two women elected to the House in the 1948 general election. Standing between Lady Blatch and Premier the Hon. Sir John Swan are Capt. and Mrs. A.C. Lyles. Mrs. Jean Lyles is the daughter of Mrs. Aitken.
