They took part in a course run by the National Drug Commission, but put into practice by Benedict Associates.

It helps train members of staff to spot signs of drug abuse and then help a person kick the habit.

Vaughn Mosher, of Benedict, said: "This programme shows the steps employers and employees and their representatives can take together to combat drug and alcohol abuse in the workplace.'' The NDC hopes eventually to implement the programme throughout all Bermuda's hotels.
