LAW FIRM SET FOR PERSONNEL CHANGES LEG Law firm set for personnel changes The law firm of Hall, Duncan and Trott is to officially dissolve on Friday. As reported by The Royal Gazette last week, lawyers Mr. Delroy Duncan and Mr.

Perry Trott are bidding farewell to senior partner Mr. Julian Hall MP to set up their own practice in the Barclays International Building on Church Street.

The new firm will be called Perry P. Trott, Barrister and Attorney, Mr.

Trott said in a letter sent to his and Mr. Duncan's clients this week.

Neither would comment on their reasons for leaving when contacted yesterday.

And Mr. Hall could not be reached.

Mr. Duncan, an Englishman, was an associate in the firm, and Mr. Trott, a Bermudian, was a partner.

It is understood lawyer Mr. Michael Scott is leaving Browne and Wade to join fellow Opposition member Mr. Hall.

Mr. Robin McMillan, a senior litigation attorney at Mr. Hall's firm, said he had no plans to leave it.

BLUE BAGS PLEA FROM GOV'T GVT Blue bags plea from Gov't Government waste manager Mr. Dan Hoornweg yesterday appealed to residents not to put regular trash in the blue bags which were sent to all households and meant for cans and bottles only.

He also appealed to stores not to sell non-clear blue bags so residents would not accidentally buy them when they run out of the bags provided by Government as an introductory step.

Mr. Hoornweg said recyclables in blue bags that were not see-through would unfortunately have to be picked up along with the regular trash and taken to the dump.

Apart from those hitches, Mr. Hoornweg said the recycling scheme was going well.

"Obviously there are some teething problems, but nothing larger than expected,'' he said.

Although Government chose to buy its blue bags from Bermuda Janitorial Supplies, any store can import blue bags. And residents can buy any type of blue bag, as long as it is see-through.
