Spokesperson Evelyn James Barnett said the Police car and a private car collided around 9 p.m. on Sunday.

Mrs. James Barnett said Police car, driven by a 25-year-old officer, was travelling south on Somerset Road with its emergency lights on when it encountered the private car.

That car, driven by a 44-year-old Sandys Parish woman, was intending to make a right turn onto Broome Street.

No one was injured.
