The four visitors were released after being informed of Bermuda's laws on indecent exposure, a Police spokesman said.

Officers on patrol on South Shore spotted the nude bathers at Chaplin Bay.

They were completely naked and had their bathing suits in their hands, the spokesman said.

The beach was apparently crowded with visitors, including young children at the time of the offence, he added.
