Perinchief have joined forces in the newly-formed Coalition for the Independence of Bermuda, it was announced yesterday.

The coalition is a group that transcends party politics, race, and class, said Transport Minister the Hon. Maxwell Burgess, who is spokesman for the coalition.

The new group is to hold an Independence rally at Number One Shed at 8 p.m. on Thursday.

Committee for the Independence of Bermuda chairman Mr. Walton Brown has agreed to speak at the forum, but his group remains outside the coalition, Mr.

Burgess said.

Premier the Hon. Sir John Swan, Mr. Perinchief, Health Minister the Hon.

Quinton Edness, Mrs. Grace Bell MP, and journalist Mr. Reggie Semos are also expected to speak.
