prison for a drugs-related offence -- yesterday afternoon slipped his Police escort while being led from Magistrates' Court and disappeared.

Dennis Webster Warner jumped a high wall in back of the court building at around 12.45 p.m. and ran off, heading north on Court Street. He was apparently wearing no restraints.

Warner is described as 155 pounds, of medium build, wearing braids in his hair, and wearing light-coloured jeans. He is not considered dangerous.

Police are continuing to search for him and remind the public it is considered an offence to harbour a fugitive.
