Prisoner slips out of court

Sidney Carl Pitt was waiting in court for his case to be heard before Senior Magistrate Will Francis.
But it appears he slipped out of the back of the room unnoticed and fled the building.
Forty-eight-year-old Pitt, of Horseshoe Road, Southampton, was arrested on Monday after Police executed a warrant.
He was held overnight on Monday at the Hamilton Police Station and brought to court by Police yesterday morning. It is not known what charges he was facing, but they were not thought to be serious.
It is understood he was sitting in the court room, but at about 11 a.m.
slipped out of a door and bolted.
Pitt is described as being light-brown skinned, about five feet, nine inches tall, of slim build and wearing a brown sweater, red sweat pants and sandals when he escaped.
