Mrs. Eleanor Wilkie Kingsbury, a British citizen currently living in the US, will take over from Mr. Wright when he retires from the school next August.

Mrs. Kingsbury was headmistress of Philadelphia's prestigious Springside School for ten years and is currently the executive director of the Ohio Humanities Council.

Described by BHS board of trustees chairman Mr. H. Bruce Murray as an "outstanding educator'', she has also received US presidential recognition for excellence in education.

Meanwhile, Cable and Wireless has announced the appointment of a new director of corporate and government affairs.

Based in London, Mr. Adrian Moorey will be responsible for public relations, advertising and government affairs for Cable and Wireless worldwide.

He brings with him 25 years of experience in public relations work.
