RG revs up for model edition
latest scooters, will take centre stage in RG Magazine's annual car and bike edition which will be available inside tomorrow's newspaper.
Other features include a story by senior writer John Burchall about Government's plans to improve protection for consumers who often feel ill at ease as they navigate the increasingly technical and computerised world of the motor car industry. The number of complaints against car dealers and service departments has increased more than 50 per cent in the past year according to the Consumer Affairs Department.
However, all is not lost, since this issue will also show car owners how to save money on needless repairs by learning more about their own vehicles. RG Magazine spoke to Bermuda College Motor Vehicle learning managers Ellsworth Lovell and Malcolm Simons and they have offered the novice some useful advice on car care. Meanwhile, Bob Amesse takes a look at this month's XL Bermuda Open or the Capital Open as it is now called. Tennis fans will get to see two-time US Open Champion Patrick Rafter play in an exhibition match at Coral Beach. There will also be a host of other rising stars from the ATP circuit.
The travelling road show Up With People returns to Bermuda later this month.
