Ezekiel Trott, of St. Augustine Lane, pleaded guilty in Magistrates' Court to possessing cannabis, supplying cannabis, and possessing cocaine.

Police prosecutor Sgt. Kenrick James said Police saw Trott selling drugs at the roadside near Angle Street on August 25.

Trott was arrested and taken to the Hamilton Police Station. During a routine search $230 was found in one of Trott's pockets.

Sgt. James said Trott told Police that he had purchased some cannabis the night before his arrest.

He said he had packaged the cannabis in 14 envelopes, each with a street value of $25, and sold ten of them to buy school clothes.

Trott said he kept the four envelopes Police found on him, which contained 2.4 grams of cannabis, for his own use.

Sgt. James said in a separate incident on August 31, Police patrolling the Glebe Road area around 3 p.m. noticed Trott sitting in a private car with two other people.

Police noticed that Trott was fidgeting and acting nervous as he put something into his lap.

Sgt. James said the officers searched Trott and found that the object in his lap was a Bermuda $2 bill containing .31 grams of crack cocaine.

Trott told Police he had planned to split the rock in half and sell both halves for $50.

Upon hearing the evidence, Acting Magistrate the Wor. Cheryl-Ann Mapp released Trott on $1,000 bail with a like surety and ordered him to return to court on January 30 when the social inquiry report was scheduled to be completed.
