Seniors tea time
Gardens this Sunday in order to avoid congestion as the Premier hosts her annual Senior's Tea.
Vehicles dropping off seniors are asked to enter the Botanical Gardens through the West gate on Point Finger Road and to exit via the North gate onto Berry Hill Road.
The same procedure will be in effect for those picking up seniors at the end of the tea. There will also be designated parking areas and parking attendants on hand for those wishing to park vehicles during the tea.
And a special bus service has been laid on to transport seniors from Somerset, St. George's and Hamilton. Buses will depart from Somerset bus station at 1:45 p.m., Town Square, St. George's at 1:45 p.m. and from the Hamilton bus station at 2:15 p.m. The tea will run from 3 p.m. till 4:30 p.m. in the Main Show Ring at the Botanical Gardens in Paget.
