Waymond Hill, of Ballast Point Road, St. David's, pleaded not guilty in Magistrates' Court to driving at 75 kph.
But Det. Con. Raoul Ming told the court he checked Hill's speed on October 24 last year when he saw Hill driving a white Hyundai Accent easterly along Harrington Sound Road in Smith's Parish.
Despite Hill's not guilty plea, he did not question the testimony of the officer, nor did he provide any witnesses to support his plea.
Magistrate Edward King therefore, found Hill guilty and banned him from driving motor cars for 18 months and ordered him to pay a $400 fine.
