A house in Beacon Hill, Somerset, had part of its roof blown off in the wild and wet conditions, while Cambridge Beaches cottage colony in Sandys suffered flooding in a dining room.

A house in Beacon Hill, Somerset, had part of its roof blown off in the wild and wet conditions, while Cambridge Beaches cottage colony in Sandys suffered flooding in a dining room. The storm also cut power to areas of Somerset and last night BELCO workers were fighting to get homes back on line.
Masters hardware store and the Olympic Health Club in Dundonald Road, Pembroke, and Palmetto Road were also hit.
