Student off road for a year
number of traffic offences.
Andreas Trott, of Third Avenue, Devonshire, pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified by age, giving false information to Police, failing to stop after being pulled over, having an unlicensed vehicle and no third party insurance.
At 2:15 p.m. on November 16, Police spotted Trott and his pillion passenger on Kindley Field Road in St. George's.
Police then signalled for Trott and his passenger to stop but Trott refused and a chase ensued.
When Trott was finally apprehended near Ferry Reach Road in St. George's, Police questioned Trott as to why he didn't stop and Trott's reply was: "I'm off the road.'' Trott then gave his correct name but wrong age.
It was later revealed after investigation that the vehicle was not licensed nor insured. This was Trott's first appearance in court for any offence.
Trott was fined $100 and taken off the road for a year.
