$5,000 bail in Magistrates' Court yesterday.

The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons and is of no fixed abode, was charged with sexual assault and committing bodily harm on October 14 in Southampton.

The man was held in custody until outstanding fines could be paid but was allowed bail on the sexual assault charge.

He is due to appear in court again on December 27.
