resolved.

Meetings took place yesterday at the Transport Control Department to settle a disagreement after six people simultaneously called in sick on Tuesday and Wednesday.

It is understood the workers stayed away as part of a protest over staffing levels at the centre.

All the employees are expected to report for work at the North Street centre today.

The discord is believed to have occurred after a misunderstanding over whether or not staffing issues were being addressed.

Meetings took place yesterday between TCD director Donald Dane, Bermuda Public Services Association General Secretary Ed Ball and the six staff. The concerns have now been sorted out.

Mr. Dane was upset that the staff had taken the route they did, instead of going through the proper channels with their grievance.
