Teen arrested in stabbing incident
woman in the intensive care unit of King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
The 36-year-old Smith's Parish woman, who was yesterday listed in stable condition, was stabbed in her chest following an argument with the teenager from Warwick over some damage to a cycle at Devil's Hole.
Police said the incident occurred shortly after 5 p.m. on Monday.
Inquiries into the incident were continuing.
Police were also investigating an assault on two men during the early hours of yesterday. Shortly after 2 a.m., at a Middletown Pembroke residence, Police found a 22-year-old Warwick man bleeding profusely from a cut around his eye and a 22-year-old Pembroke man with a large gash to his forehead.
The two men were treated at hospital. But the cause of the incident was not clear.
Police said the injuries were believed to have been caused by baseball bats.
Damage was also caused to a nearby apartment and a motor cycle.
