Darren Minors, 18, of Warwick, died on Thursday night after suffering serious head injuries in a single vehicle accident on Sunday evening.

He was in the Intensive Care Unit of the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital following the accident, which happened on North Shore Road, Pembroke at 10 p.m. on Sunday.

Mr. Minors was hurt after the motorcycle he was on hit a stone wall whilst travelling west. Police said it appeared that the accident happened as pair had turned to talk to friends whilst attempting to take a right turn. The second man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of driving whilst impaired and also failed a breathalyser test at the scene.

He has subsequently been released on Police bail.

The machine was completely written off.
