Teenager arrested
afternoon's Washington Mall robbery.
The incident occurred at about 12.30 p.m. on Church Street near the entrance to the mall.
The 16-year-old victim was allegedly attacked and robbed of cash by two boys, one wielding a stick.
It was the latest in a string of recent incidents at Washington Mall, which included a gang attack on a Warwick Secondary School student last month.
Police spokesman P.c. Gary Venning said regular patrols would continue to cover the area, and added that Police did not consider the area to be a haunt for Bermuda's young criminal fraternity.
Police said last night a cyclist was taken to hospital after a collision with a car in Pembroke.
The accident happened at about 9 p.m. at the junction of St. John's Road and Cox's Lane. The rider was not seriously injured.
