Tickets are available at several locations around the Island including the Foot Locker, the Pro Shop, the Upstairs Golf and Tennis Shop, the Sports Seller, Sports R Us, The National Tennis Stadium and the Visitors Service Bureau.

ONE FOR THE HEART FNR Bermudians will take to the streets tomorrow to try to raise $30,000 for the hospital.

The Bermuda Heart Foundation is urging families to join a sponsored "Walk & Win'' exercise. It starts between 2 p.m. and 2.30 p.m.

Fund-raisers will shed a few pounds walking around the Botanical Gardens. And for the top six fund-raisers there will be the chance to win prizes.

Money from the event will cover the cost of a Freeland Digital Image Analysis System for King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

The $30,000 machine will allow doctors to take ultrasound images of the heart, improving doctors' diagnostic ability.

BRIDGE CLOSED TFC Longbird Bridge will be closed to boat traffic on Thursday, the US Naval Air Station said in a news release.

Routine maintenance would be performed, and vehicle traffic would not be affected.

The swing bridge was expected to reopen on Friday, but boaters were advised to monitor Harbour Radio on Thursday for updates.

Devon Spring Lane will be closed for two weeks, the Ministry of Works and Engineering said in a news release. Closure of the lane, off South Shore Road near Collector's Hill, would affect access to Devon Spring Apartments, a Government spokesman said.

During the closure, access to the apartments would be via Devon Spring Road, she said.

The emergency road closure, which began on Thursday, was "in the interest of public safety'' due to soft and unstable earth.

CHURCH TALK CHU People facing a spiritual crisis can seek guidance from a visiting lecturer who describes himself as a spiritual counsellor.

Mr. Alfred Cabral has been brought to the Island from Canada by the Evangelical Church in Paget where he will speak tomorrow.

Mr. Cabral also has a lecture scheduled for next Friday and Saturday at the Clear View Suites in Hamilton Parish. The lectures titled "The Battle Belongs to the Lord'' will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a lunch break.

Mr. Cabral said modern culture is increasingly putting immense strains on the individual.

"The Christian churches are one of the few places in the world where you can get help,'' Mr. Cabral said. "There is a way out and that's what I will talk about.''
