Thieves steal church funds

During the week, a 39-year-old man claimed he was robbed by two men and a woman on Angle Street. While one of the muggers held the victim from behind, an accomplice stole cash from his pockets. A 43-year-old Pembroke man has been arrested in connection with the robbery.

During the week Police received eight reports of stealing including theft of vehicle parts in St. George's and cash and a cheque in Pembroke.

Three Paget and Hamilton Parish homes were also targeted by thieves over the weekend. Quantities of cash were taken in the raids.
