beating a man causing grievous bodily harm on November 11.

Rawn Michael Warner, Jamal Orlando Symonds, and Dwight Martin Basden face a three day trial on April 23.

They deny beating -- with others not before the court -- Shawn Stevens in the early hours of the Remembrance Day holiday, which left him in King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for several weeks.

Warner, 20, of Soundview Road, and Symonds, of White Hill Lane were represented by Elizabeth Christopher.

Basden, 26, of Bushy Park Drive, was represented by Larry Scott.

Senior Magistrate Will Francis extended Warner's and Basden's $2,500 bail.

At Ms Christopher's request, he ordered Symonds, who was not in court, be produced in court next week to formally alert him of the trial date.
