Magistrate Edward King handed down the mandatory fines and ban to 71-year-old Susan Outerbridge, Gareth Caseman, and Jermaine Jackson, but used his discretionary powers to set different times to have the money paid into Government coffers.

Jackson, 27, admitted he had 114 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood. The legal limit is 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood.

Police stopped Jackson, of Harbour Road, Warwick, as he was riding a cycle at Crow Lane at 3.15 a.m. on September 23.

Caseman admitted having two times the legal limit of alcohol in his system when Police stopped him 15 minutes after stopping Jackson.

Caseman, also 27, of Lookout Lane, Paget called it an "error of judgment'' before apologising. He was given until November 17 to pay.

Outerbridge told Mr. King she would pay her fine immediately, after pleading guilty to driving on Front Street, Pitt's Bay Road, and Fairylands Road on October 14.

Outerbridge was found to have 139 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood.
