Police shot with rubber bullets in January -- appeared in Magistrates' Court yesterday.

The three men allegedly attacked Proctor on February 11 of this year while he was incarcerated at Westgate Correctional Facility.

Coltrane Ornette Ratteray, 33, Andre Anthony Tucker, 20, and David Anthony Dill, 32, are all currently serving sentences at Westgate.

The three did not have to plead to charges of grievous bodily harm before Acting Senior Magistrate Edward King yesterday because they will be tried in Supreme Court.

It is alleged that during the attack on the 52-year-old Proctor, the three men put a sack over his head and beat him unconscious.

Proctor later had to have his spleen removed as a result of the attack.

All three men elected long form preliminary inquiries.
