US man fined for drug pipe

Ryan Nobles of Hobarth, Indiana, pleaded guilty to possessing the drug equipment on February 2.
Nobles presented his luggage to a customs officer who found the pipe in an outer pocket of a green duffel bag.
Nobles said when presented with the item: "I didn't know because it is not my bag. I borrowed it.'' The pipe was found to have traces of cannabis residue after being checked by the Government analyst.
Nobles has been staying with family friends in Southampton.

Matthew Taylor, 18, of Dunscombe Road, Paget, was in Police custody on another matter on January 18, when he was searched.
Police prosecutor Sgt. Phil Taylor told Senior Magistrate Will Francis that Police found a small paper wrap in his right front pocket.
The court heard that when he was asked about its contents, Taylor told Police: "I'm just holding it.'' The plant like substance was tested by the Government analyst and found to be O.23 grams of cannabis.
Mr. Francis fined Taylor $200 for possession.
