US visitor's handbag stolen
Thursday.
The woman told Police she was walking along Pitt's Bay Road in Pembroke with her husband around 2.15 p.m. when a youth on a motorcycle rode up from behind and grabbed her shoulder bag.
The offender continued along Pitt's Bay Road and turned right onto Rosemont Avenue.
As a result, the woman's sunglasses were knocked off and broken. But she was not injured.

The young woman told Police that around 4.45 a.m. she was startled by the sound of someone in her bedroom.
She said she saw a black male standing over her who then proceeded to indecently assault her.
The woman screamed and the offender fled.
Police said the woman was extremely shaken by the encounter, but not physically injured.

The incident occurred yesterday morning at a private home on South Road.
The women told Police that someone entered the residence and took their handbags.
After searching the area, the bags were recovered minus an undisclosed amount of cash.
