Visiting hairdresser fined for drunk brawl
after being fined for being drunk and fighting in a public place.
Magistrates' Court heard yesterday that the Police were called to York Street, St. George's where they found Lucille Cierri involved in an argument with two other people. They were screaming and shouting and punching one another when the officers arrived, continued Police prosecutor Sgt. Anthony Mouchette.
Then Cierri pushed a man into the glass window of a store, breaking four panes of glass in the process.
The officers saw she was unsteady on her feet and smelt of intoxicants so she was arrested for being drunk and incapable.
Duty Counsel Julianna Jacks said Cierri was visiting the Island with her boyfriend. Another man, the complainant, had been making passes at her during the course of the evening, while her boyfriend was not present.
