Police reported that at 10.30 p.m. on Saturday a 24-year-old woman, who was travelling as a pillion passenger along Harbour Road, said two men on a cycle came alongside and snatched her handbag off her shoulder.

The bag contained a small amount of cash and personal items.

Another female visitor to the Island said she was walking along Pitts Bay road in Pembroke at 10.15 p.m. on Friday when two youths approached her, snatched her handbag and escaped on foot.

The bag contained a quantity of US cash, credit cards, a passport, and other personal items.
