Weekly air visitors rise

And total arrivals probably would have been higher than last year if the Royal Majesty's sailing had been not scrubbed following a grounding earlier this month.
Air arrivals totaled 11,896 between June 19 and June 25, up 285 compared to last year.
Total arrivals were down 99 or 0.6 percent on the same period in 1994 at 17,317 visitors. Of that total, 5,412 came by sea, a 5.9 percent decline on last year. The fall was blamed on the Royal Majesty cancellation.
For the year to June 25, 236,934 people have arrived in Bermuda, a drop of more than 8,800 or 3.6 percent on the same period in 1994.
