Police have a vague description of the man, who knocked the woman down from behind while riding a cycle and stopped and returned to snatch her handbag.

The woman suffered facial injuries in the attack which occurred around 4 p.m.

The man was wearing a red shirt and a light coloured helmet and was riding a black scooter-type motorcycle.
