She is said to have been walking along Court Street on Tuesday morning, when she was confronted by the man about a personal matter.

Police said that he then struck her on the forehead and arms with the bottle, before kicking her repeatedly in the back.

She suffered abrasions and swelling, as a result of the attack, and was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital after reporting the incident to Police.
