Woman stole from sister
sister's house and stole a knapsack in search of drug money for herself and a female friend.
Police later arrested the two women at a "crack house'' on Spice Hill in Warwick.
And prosecutor Sgt. Peter Giles said the officers found the stolen knapsack in a trash bin at "another well known drug area'' -- the Incubator in Devonshire.
Gail Simons, 37, of Warwick, admitted to breaking into her sister's house over the weekend.
She also admitted stealing a knapsack containing $1,000 in cash and designer-label leather accessories valued at $355.
Her friend Tanya Smith, 26, who also lives in Warwick, admitted receiving $300 cash from her knowing it had been stolen.
Sgt. Giles said Simons' sister's husband came home around 3.15 a.m. on Sunday and found the front door unlocked. Thinking his wife had accidentally left it open, he went to bed.
But the couple called the Police in the morning when the woman could not find her knapsack.
Police determined the thief entered the house through an insecure window and left via the front door. The bag was taken from the woman's bedroom while she was asleep.

The Wor. John Judge ordered social inquiry reports for the two women. He bailed Simons in the sum of $1,000 plus a surety and Smith in the sum of $500 plus a surety.
